The past week, there have been numerous articles commenting about a study from Applum (withapplum.com) that states according to their EdgeRank Checker application, that if you administer content using a third-party app, like I do with HootSuite, your customer engagement can be as much as 70% less.  

From time to time, I go on a tool hunt. A tool hunt involves seeking out new social media tools that offer consolidation of various social network metrics.  For a while, I've been seeking a tool that would give me near instantaneous insight into how well our posts are being consumed and shared by our and our clients' followers and fans.

I've been on Instagram now for about ten months and I'm still really enjoying using this app. I'd say it's probably the most used app on my phone. I love the idea of taking simple shots, tweaking them a touch to match my mood, and sharing them with the other Instagrammers.
