Shameless Promotion

We could’ve designed a kick-ass T-shirt. We could’ve slapped our logo on some sweet mugs and coasters. But would simple swag be enough to truly represent what Urban Influence is all about? Would that alone be enough of a gift to satiate our rabid fan base? No, of course it wouldn’t. They’re not easily satiated. 

We are truly humbled. There’s really no other way to put it. The fact that the city of Seattle would spontaneously repaint its most iconic symbol, the Space Needle, in a shade of Urban Influence orange has left us speechless.

I’d probably passed by the building hundreds, if not thousands, of times. Commuting to a variety of jobs over the last several years, by car and by bus, I’ve gone by the corner of Denny and Dexter twice a day, almost every day – and yet I’d never bothered to really look at the Seattle Park Department Administration building.

 Urban Influence is featured on the home page of Branding Served for our Molly Moon Ice cream truck project. (and with the most "likes" so far i might add :D) Branding Served is a category specific site used to further showcase the best projects on the Behance Network. "Fresh works from leading creative professionals." That's us! Speaking of Molly Moons, don't forget to swing by and check out their new compstable serving cups that we also designed! Looks like we aren't the only ones moving to the hill! 

Last week in collaboration with SEOmoz we launched a brand new version of Open Site Explorer, an SEO search engine for link data (soon to be the only one?). This latest version of the site is built on Rails 3 and was in development for close to four months.

It is time for a studio update! We could not be more excited to be featured in the highly esteemed Office Snapshots. We still have quite a bit of finishing touches to add but we are very pleased to be showcased amongst such incredibly creative spaces. It is very exciting to see creativity celebrated in the workplace and I hope it is something we continue to see more of. Browse around Office Snapshots and get inspired to vamp up your own offices!
